As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting direct marketing and technical sales activities. Combined with the following skills and duties:
- Drive sales within your designated sales territory, including Robotic Total Stations, GPS, 3D laser scanning, Monitoring, and Rail
- Collaborate with customers and team members to develop innovative solutions, while actively identifying opportunities for improvement and confidently providing suggestions
- Independently handle customer inquiries, ensuring exceptional support and tailored services to enhance their overall experience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends, ensuring a deep understanding of the Geospatial/Civil Engineering market and the broader industry landscape
- Represent our client at industry events, such as trade shows, to promote offerings and engage with potential customers
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a suitable qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Prior experience in technical sales - advantageous; combined with proficiency in MS Office software.
Other key skills and traits include:
- A proven ability to manage and track sales pipeline effectively
- In-depth knowledge of the Geospatial/Civil Engineering market and the wider industry
- Experience in using Trimble Survey equipment is desirable
- Any exposure to Marine Construction applications would be a bonus
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve collective targets and deliver high-quality results within defined time frames
- Results-driven mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and adapting to changing work environments
- Possession of a full driving license and willingness to travel as needed
